Windows 8 Store Now Accepts Apps from 120 Countries

Microsoft has announced that is will begin accepting apps for the Windows 8 Store from developers around the world, bringing submissions from developers to more than 120 countries. With this announcement, Microsoft has added 82 new app submission markets for Windows 8. In addition to opening the Windows 8 Store to several countries, Microsoft announced that several of its subscription offerings for developers will receive additional perks.

MSDN subscribers will receive a free, one year Windows 8 Store developer account as part of the MSDN benefits. Currently there are over 1,000 apps available in the Windows 8 Store, with more expected as the OS launches in just under two months.
