New HTC Accord rumors surface, great camera & no microSD support

We’ve been seeing rumors about the HTC Accord for some time now. The phone is destined for Verizon’s LTE network and while the 8MP camera rumored to be on the device is a far cry from the Titan II’s 16MP camera, it is said that the Accord can take “phenomenal photos”. ¬†An HTCSource tipster says the camera does not feature any of the enhancements found on the One X, such as burst mode or other ImageSense capabilities, but this could change before the phone is released.

Another interesting rumor from the tipster is that the phone doesn’t support a microSD slot, much like the Lumia 920. With 16GB of internal storage, if this rumor turns out to be true I wonder if people will be up in arms about it as they were with the Lumia 920 announcement.

Wasn’t the purpose of coming out with Windows Phone 8 was to include SD card support? Microsoft still does not have they sh*t together.

WP8 supports microSD. It’s not Microsoft’s fault if HTC doesn’t use it.

When will we see a phone that actually does it? You have 2 out so far. Nokia and HTC that don’t support it. People mines well just stick to Windows Phone 7.

Look at other platforms, this is the way technology is moving.

  • Nokia does support it, their Lumia 820 supports Micro SD cards. They didn’t want a memory card slot marring up a side of the Lumia 920, frankly, I don’t blame them.
