Hands-on with the HTC Windows Phone 8X [Video]

HTC has announced their new line of Windows Phone handsets, and they do not disappoint. The Windows Phone 8X is the flagship model. It has a 4.3″ 720p LCD 2 display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8MP camera with 1080p video recording, 1Gb of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and Beats Audio. The 8X will come in four colors: yellow, red, black, and blue. It will be available on T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.

We got some hands-on time with the 8X and it feels like a real contender, not just an afterthought. The back is a soft-touch poly-carbonate that reminds us of the Lumia 900 or the One X for Android. Everything about the device feels premium. It’s great to finally see HTC take Windows Phone seriously. Check out our video and photos below of the 8X.

  • I like this phone alot. If only the screen was bigger. even the 920 i think should be bigger like 4.7. I do like the S version better tho.
