In addition to the numerous holiday stores that are popping up all over the United States in order to handle holiday demand for the Surface tablet and other Windows 8 products, Microsoft officially opened an online store in China. The store will sell Surface tablets to the Chinese market, in addition to other products. For those who want to get their Surface from a retail outlet, Suning will be distributing them exclusively.
The Chinese Surface tablet is a bit different than the one that will be launching in the rest of the world in order to comply with Chinese regulations. These regulations include the absence of both Twitter and Facebook from the device.
