AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 goes on sale Nov. 9th for $99, Lumia 820 for $49

BOOM! Official. AT&T has finally filled the awaiting public in on pricing and availability for the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820. We have been hearing that the 920 would go for the affordable price of $149, but it turns out that wasn’t low enough. The Lumia 920 will go on sale November 9th for the ultra low price of $99. The Lumia 820 will join it on the 9th for only $49. The 920 will be available in black, white, red, yellow, and cyan. The 920 will also come with a free charging plate for a limited time. Pre-orders begin tomorrow (November 7th).

AT&T also announced pricing for the HTC 8x. The 16gB version will cost $199, and the 8GB version will cost only $99. The 8X will be available in blue and yellow. With the 920 and 8X both available for only $99 AT&T customers have a tough decision on their hands. What one do you prefer?

  • Now who in the world will even consider the HTX 8x? $100 for a couple of ounces less and lower specs all around! The smart consumer buys the Lumia 920.

  • I would probably go for the 8X. From everything I’ve read/seen, it feels better in the hand/pocket, and that for me trumps a better camera/screen when the difference is as minute as this.

However, I didn’t think the price would be on par like this (or that Nokia would undercut HTC by that much). Good surprise, though.

  • If the htc was 4.5 or bigger I probably would’ve gotten that. But the $99 price and being available in a couple of days clinches the 920 for me.
