AT&T’s Lumia 920 TV ads going into high gear [Video]

We knew it wouldn’t be long before AT&T’s new ads for the Lumia 920 would surface. The above video is AT&T’s first try at marketing the Lumia 920 in the US. Will Arnett is featured, showing off his white Lumia 920 as he describes his experience with the phone. It’s an interesting take on advertising, as it comes with a website where users can check out the Windows Phone 8 start screen and see their own custom created device featured in the ad.

AT&T promised to go all out when the Lumia 900 was released and that effort wasn’t as full-fledged as we hoped it would be.

Can’t tell if this commercial is really good or really bad…

    Who is this guy?

  • AS147

It is a really bad advert because it doesn’t target uts demographic customer correctly. Tgey couldn’t have got it more wrong if they tried. In times of financial hardship what customer base is going to identify with this type of character? It is so Richie rich from the 80’s
The other issue is the use of big name celebrities is very expensive so is a drain on your overall budget. Any marketing knows that for that amount of spend you have to be very successful. Also most memorable adverts don’t have big stars in them. They miss everything they needed to do here e.g aim for the lifestyle message i.e how does the phone make the lives of your target customer better?

It’s Will Arnett…so that makes it automatically good.
