New Verizon Samsung ATIV Odyssey image leaks

The Samsung ATIV Odyssey is a phone we were promised “soon” when Windows Phone 8 launched officially on October 29th. It looks like that day is coming, as notable leaker @evleaks has shown a new render of the ATIV Odyssey. The render has Verizon carrier branding, since it is a variant of the ATIV S. Specs are rumored to be a 4.8″ Super AMOLED screen, 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. The phone will also be equipped with LTE and is expected to arrive to Big Red sometime in December.

  • Looks… like a typical Samsung phone.

  • Yep. Great for people who don’t want the color of the recent HTC and Nokia models.

I don’t know what that back is made out of, but the ATIV S has this metal back that makes it feel so SOLID. It kinda looks like this one might be similar. If it does, then it is definitely no regular Samsung phone.

  • I just mean that the design language is the same as the other current Samsung affairs. It’s not pushing that to a different level because of the OS being different than Android, as HTC is doing.
