Microsoft asks web designers to stop ignoring IE10 for Windows Phone

Internet Explorer has always been treated like a second class citizen in the browser world. It’s a very solid browser now, but its reputation has been hard to forget for a lot of people. This is never more visible than when you browse the web on a Windows Phone.

Many web designers simply don’t care about Windows Phone, and Microsoft is trying to change that. They have created a blog post for helping people adapt their webkit-optimized sites for IE. It’s a valiant effort, but we can’t help but think Microsoft is not in a position to make demands. Just look at this post about IE 10 for Win7 and you’ll see what designers think of IE.
