Microsoft Stores kicking off Black Friday a day early

For those of you who have waited to buy a Surface to see what the holiday shopping climate entails, we’ve got good news for you. Microsoft Stores have announced that their “Black Friday” deals will actually start on Thursday at 12 am, which gives you a full day before the rush, so to speak.

For those who purchase a Surface bundle, Microsoft will discount $50 on the touch or type cover of your choice. This deal is only available from Friday through Sunday. Additionally, the Microsoft Store Twitter account has stated that the first 100 people who purchase a Surface will receive a free sleeve that’s designed for the tablet as well.

Also keep in mind that Microsoft has announced several Xbox 360 holiday bundles, as well as offering price cuts on various laptops.

For the Surface Bundle, you get a touch cover. That $50 discount is on buying an additional (read: second) cover. A bit less useful in my opinion.

I don’t know. I am still tripping over all these stores bringing Black Friday deals the day before. I mean it has always been Friday at 12:00 AM, we were able to enjoy Thanksgiving. Now I am not even sure I want to stay for dinner with my family… lol. I kinda wish it would all jsut stay the way it has always been.
