Earlier in the year we were excited to tell you about three HTC WP8 devices called the Rio, Accord and Zenith. The Rio turned out to be the HTC 8S, while the Accord become the HTC 8X. What happened to the Zenith? Well, it could be on the horizon, as evidenced by a recent Xbox Live Rewards survey that Microsoft sent out to Xbox users.
As a standard question during the survey, Microsoft asked participants to rate devices they’d be excited to receive as a holiday gift on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being not excited and 5 being extremely excited. All the likely candidates are there, with the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S3 and even the Lumia 920. But hidden there in the survey is an unreleased phone, the HTC Titan III. Could it be the Zenith we expected to see at HTC’s Windows Phone announcement?
When it was first detailed back in June, the Zenith was expected to have a 4.7″ display, quad-core processor, NFC, 8 megapixel camera and 42 HSPA+ support. With the way Microsoft has been courting HTC as its flagship phone offering, do you think the HTC Titan III is in the works?
