Nokia announces the Lumia 920T, the first Windows Phone on China Mobile

It has been a big day for Nokia. Earlier they announced the Lumia 620, their new low-end WP8 device, and now it’s on to even bigger and better things. China Mobile, one of the world’s largest carriers, has never had a Windows Phone device. Nokia is changing that. Today they announced the Lumia 920T for China Mobile.

As you might expect from the name this is a variant of the Lumia 920. The only difference with this model is it has support for the TD-SCDMA wireless 3G standard n China. The 920T will go on sale by the end of the year and be available in black, white, yellow, and red. This is a very big day for Nokia. China is a huge market that Windows Phone has been missing.
