Rowi updated for Windows Phone 8, adds voice commands and more

Rowi is one of the most popular apps in the Windows Phone Store. It’s a Twitter app that has been around for a long time, and you might have even seen it in a Windows Phone commercial or two. Like many other apps right now Rowi has been updated for Windows Phone 8 with some cool new features.

First of all it’s much faster now since the splash screen has been removed and the app supports fast resume. The other cool new feature is voice commands. Right now you can only create a new tweet with the voice commands, but hopefully they add more in the future (Check out glƏƏk! or Twabbit for more). Other additions include support for all screen resolutions , new live tile sizes, and some bug fixes. Rowi can be yours for $1.49 or free trial (no push notifications). If you haven’t already given Rowi a try now is a good time.

Changelog:

  • Bug fixes
  • Support for all Windows Phone 8 screen resolutions
  • Performance optimized for Windows Phone 8
  • Voice commands like “rowi tweet” with support to translate voice to a tweet
  • Support for new small and wide live tiles
