Nokia cancels plans to exhibit at CES [Update]

Just after Huawei announces they will show off the Ascend W1 at CES, Nokia seems to have canceled plans to attend the show. WPDang is reporting that Nokia has decided to pull out of CES 2013 to concentrate on MWC in February. Microsoft’s presence at CES this year will be much less than in previous years. Last year was Microsoft’s last year attending the show, and now Nokia will be gone too. We still expect to see a lot of Windows devices at CES, and we will be there to cover it all.

Update: According to Tom Warren from The Verge Nokia never had plans to attend CES 2013.

  • Interesting! I suppose there’s no reason to exhibit what’s already on sale.

:(…… But it’s CES! They should at least be announcing something. Are they going to have a booth at all?
