Amazon Kindle app for Windows 8 now allows in-app book purchases

The Amazon Kindle app for Windows 8 has always had one annoying flaw: you couldn’t purchase books in the app. Today Amazon has updated the app to finally allow in-app purchases of books and magazines. The book store has been completely designed for touch devices, and it’s not just some window for the website. They also included some reading and library improvements.

Amazon Kindle Reader is available for all Windows 8 and RT devices for free. Download it from the Windows Store here.

That is a really nice feature…. I don’t think we can buy books within the app with Android.
