Remember Surface? No, not that Surface, this Surface. The Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon is a similar form factor, but a little more portable. We took a look at the Horizon last night and we left impressed. The display is 27″ and it can be propped up or left flat on the table. The propping mechanism is where the Horizon gets cool.
When propped upright the Horizon looks like a regular Windows 8 all-in-one, but when you put it down flat it switches to a mode called Aura. In Aura you get a familiar UI to the old Microsoft Surface. Pictures and video can be manipulated by multitouch, and there are a variety of games and apps to use too. Horizon will be coming out this summer around $1000.
