Despite Damian Dinning leaving Nokia after heading up the PureView Technology, it looks like the company will continue innovating so that the world things of PureView differently. The technology started as a 41MP camera with sensor and lens combined with software all in one package. It eventually developed into what we see today with the Lumia 920. Current head of imaging Juha Alakarhu knows PureView is evolving:
“Well, I think it’s important to underscore that PureView doesn’t mean any specific technology. It’s the latest and greatest in imaging. When you buy a Nokia phone with PureView, you are getting our highest quality imaging innovation.”
