Windows 8 has been out for about three months now, and market share is starting to grow past the competition. A recent graph from Net Applications shows that Windows 8 now has more market share than OS X Mountain Lion, the most recent version of Apple’s desktop OS. In the graph above we can see that they are tied at 2.45%, but when you add in “Windows Touch” it goes up to 2.53%. This information was collected from the week of January 20th.
Windows 7 is still very large and in charge, followed by XP and Vista. This graph really shows just how much Microsoft dominates the desktop world. Even Vista is used more than any version of OS X. Have you upgraded to Windows 8 yet?
