Lumia 822 selling well on Verizon, red and grey versions out of stock

Verizon has embraced Windows Phone 8 much more than they did with WP7. They have three very solid phones, and they have been advertising for them a lot more. It’s amazing what actually trying can do for sales. The Lumia 822 has benefited from Verizon’s new found commitment to Windows Phone. The grey version, along with the brand new red version, are sold out of from Verizon right now.

It’s no wonder the 822 is selling well. It easily outperforms other free Android phones on Verizon. We doubt there is a better phone than the Lumia 822 you can get for free. It has a 4.3″ display,, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8MP camera, and blazing LTE speed. While the red and grey versions are sold out you can still get the black or white version. The 822 is free with a new two-year contract. Check out our in-depth review to see if the 822 is for you.

Why is grey such a sellout color in the WP world??

it’s different than black or white

I would imagine the white would sell out before grey, still. It fits the device better, I think.
