Microsoft promised that Windows Phone 8 bring more powerful and immersive games to the platform. A couple months in and we haven’t really seen that promise realized. Today we have some good news that could start the trend of big games coming to the platform. Ubisoft, a major force in gaming with games like Assasin’s Creed and Far Cry, is bringing a couple more games to Windows Phone.A leaked Ubisoft sales report mentions three new games for Windows Phone.
The three games include Monster Burner, Rabbids Go Phone Again, and Rayman Jungle Run.
Monster Burner is a action/puzzle game involving, you guessed it, monsters. The monsters come from the top of the screen and it is your job to stop them from reaching the bottom by shooting fireballs. The art in this game is very beautiful and the gameplay is fun.
Rabbids is a silly little game with not much to do. All you do is dress up and play with your own virtual rabbid. He dances and reacts to everything you do. It’s just mindless fun.
Rayman Jungle Run is a platformer based on Rayman Origins. It’s another endless runner game like we’ve seen before. It involves simple tap controls to jump and avoid obstacles. Like all the other games, this one has some gorgeous artwork.
All three of these games should be Xbox for Windows Phone certified and cost around $2.99. When they arrive is still uncertain, but we hope it’s sooner rather than later. These all sound like great games that we will be happy to have on Windows Phone. Are you excited for any of these?
