Specs for unannounced HTC Tiara leak, looks like a One SV

Earlier today we reported that HTC was committed to bringing more Windows Phone devices to the market this year. Now we already have some specs of their next device. The infamous Twitter leaker @evleaks has once again come through with some information for us, but this time it’s much more than just a press render.

The device is known internally as the HTC Tiara. Like we reported earlier it doesn’t share much with the HTC One. Instead it matches up with the mid-range One SV. It has a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch Super LCD2 display with 217ppi, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 1800mAh battery, 8MP camera, and a 1.6MP front camera. The Tiara will also be the first phone to run the new Windows Phone 8 GDR2.

This device looks to hit the spot between the 8X and 8S. I’m not sure filling that small gap is what HTC should be worried about, but we certainly won’t stop them from making more phones. What do you think about the Tiara?

I guess it’s marketed towards the ladies…No dude will buy a phone called Tiara

No mention of a MicroSD slot? Sprint’s own forum moderators had stated that both phones that they planned to offer (unnamed at the time) would include external storage. Dealbreaker for me on this model, although I do like the smaller form factor and want a high visibility color like yellow.
