Windows Phone had about the same amount of growth as Android in January

2013 is set to be a pretty big year for Windows Phone. New powerful devices are already available, and new ones are on the way. Nokia is busy covering every inch of the market with the 920, 820, 720, 620, and 520, and HTC is chipping in as well. A big year needs a big start, and it’s looking like we’ve got one.

According to comScore numbers in the US for the months of November 2012 to January 2013 Windows Phone saw .36 million users added. Sound pretty good? That’s because it is. To put it in perspective Android added .4 million users in the same time period. Not bad at all. This time period is firmly in the holiday season, so it would appear Microsoft did a good job at advertising. The holiday season is always a huge time for sales. It’s great to see that Windows Phone joined in the fun this year.

Did you get your Windows Phone during this time period?
