Frustrated with the Windows 8 touch keyboard? Try TouchPal


The Windows 8 built in touch keyboard is pretty good, but it’s not for everyone. If you don’t particularly like the Windows 8 keyboard you’ve been out of luck, but now there is a good alternative: TouchPal. If the name sounds familiar that’s because TouchPal has been around for a while on Android phones, but now it is available for Windows 8 (not RT).

TouchPal uses swiping gestures to type words in one fluid motion. Instead of chicken pecking at each letter you just slide your finger over the letters. TouchPal also offers it’s own word prediction technology. If you have a Windows 8 device with a touchscreen you might want to try TouchPal. It is completely free, but only for Windows 8 devices.
