Smartphone Madness Finals: Nokia Lumia 920 vs Blackberry Z10 [Vote]

SPM_2013_GAME15_final_b

It all comes down to this. The Smartphone Madness tournament over at Laptop Mag is down to the final two phones: the Lumia 920 and Blackberry Z10. It has been a relatively easy path for the Lumia 920, leaving the Lenovo IdeaPad and Galaxy S4 in it’s wake with easy victories. The Android fans have not been showing up to vote which has led to a final match-up that many would not consider the two best smartphones.

The thing you have to remember about this tournament is it has nothing to do with the quality of the phones. Smartphone Madness is all about fan support and which phone has the most passionate user base. Windows Phone and Blackberry fans are very passionate, as most underdogs are. This year the final game is symbolic to the real life battle for third place in market share. Windows Phone has finally surpassed Blackberry, but with new phones like the Z10 they will be making a push back.

It’s time to vote! You can vote in the embedded poll below, or head to the website and vote here. Polls close on April 8th at 9AM EST.

Looks like another good year for Nokia!

The Z10 is better than the 920. It’s messaging and multi-tasking is a cut above the 920.

The Z10 was forged in the fires of mobile computing. The Windows UI is still a cluttered app grid.

The Z10 implements the flow concept. It has the best keyboard with flick typing.

Oh, the 920 has wireless charging. How many Lumia owners carry around the wireless charging dock. The Z10 can change its battery.

  • This has got to be rigged…Z10 is exponentially better than the 920. Apps aside, that is.
