Nest Thermostat for Windows Phone puts temperature control in your pocket

nest app

The Nest Learning Thermostat is one of the best recent products to enter the tech world. It fixes a problem that most people didn’t even know existed. Thermostats have been a fixture in homes for many years, but they never get much attention. They’re just there. The creator of Nest realized that thermostats with today’s technology could be so much more. Among many other things they bring the ability to control your home’s temperature from anywhere on your phone.

Currently Nest offers Android and iOS apps, but thanks to a Windows Phone developer there is a new unofficial app that can do the same. Nest Thermostat by Mike Richards is the first app to allow Windows Phone users to control their Nest. Right now it has basic functionality that allows users to view their homes temperature and humidity  adjust temperature, and control fans. So far the app is doing well in the Windows Phone Store with over 4 star rating after 38 reviews. If you have a Nest you need this app. Grab it below for free.

When I try to get this app it says it is no longer published although there are reviews dated today. Is this only for Nokia phones and not an HTC 8?
