Lumia 920 on AT&T getting update to fix connectivity problems

920 1314

Earlier today we told you about updates the Lumia 920, 820, and 620. Now we have another update for the Lumia 920, but this time the AT&T version. This update is very similar to the update from earlier except for one difference. Some AT&T users were reporting connectivty issues in certain conditions. This was something that only AT&T users of the 920 were experiencing. Thankfully that has been resolved in this update.

The update brings the 920 up to 1314 firmware. Along with the connectivity fix it also adds improved automatic display brightness adjustment, fixes to the intermittent screen blanking during phone calls, and various performance and stability improvements. The update is reportedly rolling out now to all Lumia 920’s on AT&T. Our own Lumia 920 has not received the update yet, so be patient if yours hasn’t either. You can check for an update by going to Settings>Phone Update>Check for update. This is another great example for why Nokia phones are often the most favorite. The connectivity issues just popped up two weeks ago and they already have a fix. Keep up the good work, Nokia.
