Nokia is preparing Windows Phone 8 updates for Lumia 920, 820, and 620


If you have a Lumia 920, 820, or 620 there is an update in your future. Nokia has announced that all three devices will be receiving updates in the next couple of weeks. The 920, 820, and 620 are flag bearers for Nokia’s usual high, mid, and low-range approach. Therefore they usually get good support from Nokia, though in the 920’s case the AT&T model gets the best treatment. So what can you expect in the updates?

The Lumia 920 and 820 will both be getting updated to version numberĀ 1232.5957.1308.00xx. it will bring improved automatic display brightness adjustment, a fix for screen blanking during calls, and an assortment of performance and stability improvements.

The Lumia 620 will be updated to versionĀ 1030.6407.1308.00xx. It will bring improved touchscreen functions which include better multi-touch, better voice quality with Bluetooth devices, enhanced camera performance, and some various improvements to stability and performance. As mentioned above these updates should be rolling out in the next couple of weeks. You can always check for an update manually by going to Settings>Phone Update>Check for updates.
