T-Mobile Lumia 810 gets EOL, will be replaced with Lumia 521 on April 24th

It’s always sad when a phone reaches end-of-life status, but that is exactly what the Lumia 820 has reached on T-Mobile. It doesn’t seem that long ago that we reviewed this nice little phone. The Lumia 810 can no longer be purchased online, and stores will be selling out their stock. Only refurbished devices will be sold afterwards.

The Lumia 810 will be replaced soon with the Lumia 521. As you know the 521 is a variant of the Lumia 520 for T-Mobile. We had a chance to play with the Lumia 520 at MWC and we really liked the little device. It has mid-range specs, and should come with a very affordable price tag on T-Mobile’s new unlocked plans.

According to TmoNews the Lumia 521 will be dropping on April 24th. That’s less than a week away before you can get your hands on this device. As one phone rides off into the sunset another one comes to take its place. Will you be getting the Lumia 521? What did you think of the Lumia 810?
