Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon gets a billboard, but not a release date

The Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon has been a long rumored device. It’s the flagship phone that Verizon customers have been waiting for. Over the weekend the Lumia 928 showed up on a billboard, but a release date did not.

The billboard was spotted by a reader at MyNokiaBlog. Everything points to this being a legit advertisement. There is a small Microsoft logo in the top right, Verizon logo in the bottom right, and the device is pictured in views we have not seen yet. On the back of the phone we can clearly see the Xenon flash. All signs are pointing towards a release soon.

The Lumia 928 is expected to be much like the Lumia 920. It is rumored to have a metal body, 4.5-inch display, 8MP camera, and wireless charging. The biggest difference will be that Xenon flash and it is considerably lighter and thinner than the 920. Verizon customers just have to hang on a little bit longer. This phone should be announced soon.
