Unofficial SnapChat for Windows Phone app, SwapChat gets a big update

One of the best unofficial official apps for Windows Phone is SwapChat, the app that has filled the SnapChat hole. The developer has been great about providing regular updates to keep improving the app. The latest update, version 1.3, adds a plethora of new features and improvements. Let’s take a look at what’s included.

Version 1.3 has updated to the SnapChat v5 API which will make the app faster and more reliable. SwapChat is now completely native for WP8 users, and has lockscreen notification support. Some of the other notable changes include toast notifications, tap-to-focus while taking a snap, improved friend management, and the live tile has been fixed. The full changelog is below. This update is available now for the paid version, and should hit the free version soon.
