Every time a new device comes out there is an influx of people recording themselves opening boxes. This can be handy for those of us who have to wait a little bit longer before we can get our own device. We live vicariously through the unboxer. Microsoft has done us all a favor and unboxed the Xbox One Day One Edition for us. Let’s see what is inside.

Major Nelson has been tasked with unboxing th Xbox One before its November release. Inside the large and heavy box we get a look at the final design of the Xbox One console and Kinect sensor. Also inside is a free Chat Headset, which will be included in the Day One and standard editions. A cool thing about the headset is the audio control buttons are at the base of the plug, which puts them right near your thumbs on the controller. Much easier than trying to find a mute button on the cord.

Some other goodies from the box include a HDMI cable that supports 4K, 1080p, and 3D. It’s cool to see the Xbox One in the flesh and wrapped up nicely in its retail packaging. You will definitely need a cart when you pick up one of these boxes. The Xbox One launches in┬áNovember for $499.
