New Samsung Windows Phone device discovered, could be successor to ATIV Odyssey

Today has already been a big day for rumored phones from Nokia and HTC, but now Samsung is joining the party. Samsung hasn’t really put a lot of effort into Windows Phone, but still they managed to pass HTC as the #2 manufacturer in the ecosystem. They are hoping to continue that success with a new device discovered today.

The device, named SGH-I187, has a 720p display, dual-core processor, and appears to not run GDR3. These specs might not seem bad, but with 1080p/quad-core phones from Nokia and HTC on the way it will be solidly mid-range. We expect the successor to the ATIV S to be more like a Galaxy S4, which makes this device a likely successor to the ATIV Odyssey.
