Nokia World is tomorrow morning and the floodgates have opened for leaks. @evleaks has shared a photo of the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet, which we have seen dozens of times, but also a new NFC accessory. Back in July plans leaked of a Nokia accessory called “Treasure Tag,” today we finally have a good look at it.

Treasure Tag is a NFC-enabled device filled with sensors. It’s very small and square, like a little live tile, and has a loop for attaching to things. The idea is you hook it to things you don’t want to lose, and with the companion Windows Phone app you can track them. On the phone we can see Treasure Tags set up for car keys, bag, box, and bike.

This is a very interesting little accessory. We can imagine it being very useful for finding you car in giant parking lots. Hopefully Nokia prices them cheap so it’s affordable to hook them up to everything you don’t want to lose. Can you see yourself using this accessory? Tune in tomorrow for more details.

I wonder how it works. Does it run on batteries? IS it charged via micro USB?
