Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet officially launching on November 22nd for $399

As expected, the Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet will be launching on November 22nd. Nokia finally confirmed this today with a post on their blog. The tablet will be available from AT&T for $399. Nokia showed off a Verizon-branded version of the 2520 at Nokia World, but there is still no news on pricing or availability for Big Red.

The 2520 has a 10.1-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 32GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, and a 8,000 mAh battery. Nokia has also made an optional keyboard cover similar to the Microsoft Surface. If you buy the 2520 with a new Lumia 925, 1020, or 1520 you can get the tablet for just $199. All of this pricing is with a new two-year contract.

November 22nd is going to be hard on a lot of wallets. The Lumia 2520 is launching alongside the Lumia 1520 and Xbox One. Which of these devices will you be buying, if any?

So does that mean the wifi only version would be about $50 less? If so, that’s a pretty good deal on an RT tablet and should pressure MS to lower the Surface price.

  • I dont think a WiFi-only version exists.
