The game that first started on Windows Phone and Windows 8 is now available on consoles. Halo: Spartan Assault by 343 Industries is available now on the next-gen Xbox One console for just $14.99 via digital download. The Xbox 360 is also getting Spartan Assault, but not until January.

If you’ve already purchased the game for Windows Phone or Windows 8 you can get the Xbox One version for just $4.99. In order to get the discount you had to buy the mobile game before December 15th. The game should look great in  native 1080p resolution and smooth 60 fps frame rate. Other additions to the Xbox version include a brand-new cooperative mode, new weapons, and the inclusion of the “Operation Hydra” add-on. Fight on, soldier!

I wish they’d do a “One price to rule them all” offer where you get them on every platform for $15/20 or so. I thought about getting it for my phone or tablet but wanted both so I got neither (random I know) now they have the One version so they need the “One” price and I’m on it. It would be a great cross-platform promotion I think
