iHeartRadio for Windows Phone receives a much needed update

If you’re someone who likes to listen to radio stations from your phone you are likely familiar with iHeartRadio. Over 800 radio stations across the country use iHeartRadio for internet streaming, and users can create their own stations too. Unfortunately the last update to iHeartRadio left many users with connection issues and problems while trying to listen to music.

Version 1.1, available now, fixes these pesky problems. Other new features include a double-wide live tile and lockscreen support for now playing stations. The new iHeartRadio app from the last update is completely redesigned and much nicer to use and look at. Some of the new features include recommended stations, sleep timer, lockscreen album art, bookmarking, and more.
