Firefox for Windows 8 modern UI delayed again until March

It’s been a long and treacherous road for the Windows 8 modern UI version of Firefox. Over a year ago we took our first look at the beta app, but since then it has been delay after delay. Firefox now says they are hoping to finally take it our of beta and include the modern UI version in the release of Firefox 28 in March.

Firefox for modern UI has undergone many changes since we first took a look at it. When the modern UI version is included in Firefox 28 you will be able to choose which version you want to use. Chrome already does this in a similar way right now in Windows 8. Firefox has made their modern UI version much more tablet-friendly. It should be an excellent browser for touch devices once it launches.

Which browser do you use? Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox? Let us know below!
