Samsung announces two new Windows 8.1 PCs

Oh yeah, Samsung makes Windows PCs. We almost forgot. Samsung has taken a break from the usual Galaxy-related announcements to show off two new Windows 8.1 PCs at CES. The ATIV Book 9 and ATIV One7 were announced for 2014, but in true CES form Samsung did not give pricing or release date. Let’s take a look at these two devices.

The ATIV Book 9 is a laptop with a 15.6-inch 1920×1080 display that Samsung says is 20% brighter than previous models. The notebook comes in at just 4 pounds and packs an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, storage up to 128GB SSD, and up to 14 hours of battery life.

The ATIV One7 is a 24-inch all-in-one PC. The display has 1920×1080 resolution and is available with a touchscreen as an option. The processor can be an Intel Core i5 or i7, and it has 8GB of RAM and 1TB hard drive. The device will be available in Korea, but no word on the U.S. What do you think about these two devices?
