Nokia Normandy/X specs revealed, same as the Lumia 520

Nokia Normandy 2014

We’ve seen the Nokia Normandy many, many times already, but one thing we don’t know is specs. Everyone has assumed the device must be very low-end if Nokia is using Android. @evleaks has revealed some specs for the device called “Nokia X,” and it appears those assumption were correct.

  • Dual-core Snapdragon processor
  • 4-inch WVGA display
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 4GB of storage
  • microSD card slot
  • 5MP camera
  • 1500mAh battery
  • dual-SIM

@evleaks also says the Nokia X will come in six colors and will have a “Nokia Store + 3rd party.” We assume the Nokia Store will be an area for users to download Android apps that Nokia has made or approved. All of these specs line up almost exactly with the Lumia 520. If we look at the price of the Lumia 520 we can guess that the Normandy/X will go for around $50-100. Will you be getting one?

I just don’t get the point of an android phone…! If it will have the same specs and almost the same price, what’s the the point of running android instead of windows phone. Instead of losing time with it… They must be working harder to push wp updates and optimizing existing apps. Not working with another OS… .__.
