Samsung Huron Windows Phone 8.1 device passes through the FCC

The latest phone to be popping up constantly in leaks and rumors is the Samsung Huron. We’ve seen this phone a few times since December when we weren’t even sure it was a Windows Phone device. Now not only do we know it will run Windows Phone, but it will be one of the first with 8.1. Today the Huron passed through the FCC on its way to Verizon.

The bands support Verizon CDMA and LTE, along with HSM and HSPA for worldwide roaming. We can also see that the battery is 1500 mAh. That seems a little low, but it could be subject to change. Other specs for this device include 5-4.3-inch 1080p display and maybe virtual buttons. A lot is still unknown about this device, but we did get a good look at a press render earlier this month.

With the Nokia Lumia Icon coming soon to Verizon the Huron would give Bid Red a nice Windows Phone line-up. Unfortunately, since Verizon is involved we don’t expect to see this device any time soon. Is anyone waiting for the Samsung Huron?
