This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for. Last month we asked you what Windows Phone 8.1 feature you were most excited about. Notification Center was the clear winner. Over the weekend the first screenshots of the Windows Phone 8.1 Notification Center leaked, giving us our first clear look at how the feature will work.

First of all, we can see that Microsoft will be calling the Notification Center the “Action Center.” Next we can see the previously rumored short and long swipe behavior. A short swipe down from the top of the screen shows the quick settings, as seen in the screenshot on the left. A long swipe down shows the entire “Action Center” and all your notifications.

The notifications are grouped by app with time stamps on the right side. Other cool things in the Action Center include battery percentage, date, a shortcut to settings, and the ability to clear all notifications. This is the functionality we have all been waiting for. Are you excited to finally see it become a reality?
