NCAA March Madness apps coming to Windows Phone and Windows 8

We are just a few weeks away from the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, or as most people call it “March Madness.” Of course I’m talking about the year-end college basketball tournament that will decide who wins the National Championship. Usually you can watch these games online if you have a cable subscription, but this year the NCAA is opening it up.

All 67 games will be broadcast¬†live through the official NCAA March Madness app. Last year there were no Windows Phone or Windows 8 apps available, but this year there will be. The NCAA has it listed as “coming soon” for “Windows 8 devices” with a photo of a Windows Phone device. It should also be noted that the Android and iOS versions are also listed as “coming soon.”

NCAA_March_MadnessMarch Madness is set to return on March 18th. Hopefully the app will be available before then. AT&T is listed as the sponsor for the app, but we hope it’s not only available on AT&T devices. That would not be ideal. We’ll let you know when the app is available. In the meantime, who you got? GO BLUE!
