Microsoft Surface 2 with LTE available tomorrow from AT&T

Surface 2 LTE

Last week the Surface 2 with LTE was rumored to be launching very soon. Today Microsoft has officially confirmed that it will be launching tomorrow. This new Surface 2 will be available in Microsoft Stores and Best Buy tomorrow for $679 with AT&T LTE. The device will be unlocked with support for LTE bands 4, 7, and 17.

Other than the added LTE support there is not much different about this Surface 2. There is a new SIM card slot on the left side of the device, but everything else is essentially the same. The 64GB model seems to be the only model available with LTE right now. The pricing of this device is very interesting. The Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet, which has almost identical specs, can be purchased for $399 with LTE. The Surface 2 LTE is almost a full $300 more expensive just for 32GB of more storage.
