We’ve heard rumors about Microsoft unveiling their very own Windows Smartwatch platform to rival Google’s Android Wear and Apple’s Apple Watch, but nothing has quite yet seen the peep of day. However, some governmental digging has uncovered a secret that may reveal the name of the first ever Windows Smartwatch- the ASUS VivoWatch.
ASUS is already a huge partner with Microsoft, making Windows tablets and computers dubbed VivoTab and VivoPC, so the addition of a VivoWatch is a perfectly logical progression. Based on other recent reports, we could see Microsoft’s smartwatch – and the ASUS VivoWatch – within weeks.
