Smile I want Windows Phone to succeed, so I'm trying to make quality WP apps!

I use Windows Phone as my daily driver, and I definitely want it to succeed. And the main thing that is making it hard is the app quantity and quality (IMO).
My first app is a file and text comparison app (available on the marketplace right now) called MetroDiff, which is pretty cool to use if you found a use to it. Of course it's not a killer app but it's definitely innovative.
My follow up, which is coming out -i hope- very soon is a free quality Twitter client (right now i don't like any, including rowi) with no ads. Eventually i'll make a 3D multiplayer Jenga game too.

Every app is gonna be exclusive for the WP marketplace.

What do you mean by "text comparison" app? I'm interested!

You can compare files (text or binary) that you can retrieve from skydrive or download from the Internet. You can also paste text to compare. Finally you can save the results of merging the differences on Skydrive. It's on the marketplace btw.

Good luck! There's never too many developers! I'd like to make an app or two myself but I have no ideas at the moment, I have no device to test on, and I'm already working on a simple XNA game

You may get a Lumia 900 here if u have enough posts! And it says on the newsletter you can get a device from Microsoft, at least for testing:
Device for Testing: Get your app ready for certification
Are you building an application and in need of a device for testing? Let your local Windows Phone Champ help you. Your Champ can provide access to a device for you to perform the final touches and tweaking of your app to get it published in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Brandon Watson was really cool about giving testing devices, but now he's at Amazon and I don't know who's in charge now

    Hey Lprd2007 ,

How is the coding coming on your Twitter app? I have spoken to a few other people that are close to finishing up their apps as well, and have had the some questions about the next step. I referred them to youAPPi to learn more about app monetization. They have some great things going on over there and I really think they could really help you out on your next app

I look forward to seeing your success.

    Best of luck.
