Took me about 45 minutes to do the updates last night (most of the time was the initial backup.) There were actually two OS updates, and an HTC update.

    OS is now 7.10.8107.79.

I wish I could say it did something cool; however, there are no noticeable changes, but apparently the disappearing keyboard should be gone.

Joe F, does it drive you nuts being so deep into what's going on with WP, IE, Lumia 900 and Titan 2 and being stuck on a Trophy? I'm afraid of going into an AT&T store, or I know I will immediately order a Lumia 900!

It really does. The Trophy is a great little device, but I'm ready for something better. I've never had a phone with a screen bigger than 3.7 and I'm ready to go big!

If you stay on Verizon, you'll apparently get a new Apollo superphone by Nokia, so I think that's going to be a big factor in Verizon's marketing come December!

ya, it's great and all, but it's sooooooooooooooooooo slow. I opened Angry Birds on my GF's Lumia 800 directly next to my Trophy at the same time. After her game loaded, and the "play" option was available, it literally probably took 25+ seconds for mine to be at the same state. Feelsbadman.jpg. Hoping to stumble across a free Lumia 900 and use Straight Talk. I can live without MMS until the Nokia settings app shows up or people figure out an alternative.

The source I have, who is VERY deep in WP has heard NOTHING about a Nokia Verizon device other than the rumors that popped up this week, but that does not mean it can't be true...

Well, luckily I'm living in ignorant bliss about how slow it is. I'm sure when I get a new phone I'll realize how slow it was .

I didn't realize there was such a difference between devices. And here I thought all Windows phones performed the same!
As for the Nokia rumor, MSNerd had leaked a lot of info . Does your friend work at Microsoft, Nokia or Verizon?

I will not say, but in the past this person told me stuff MONTHS before MS_NERD leaked it... connected to say the least.
