What happened to "My Verizon Mobile" app

Got notified to update the "My Verizon Mobile" app a few days ago, but I have NO idea what Verizon was doing when they "updated" the app. If you have the app pinned to the start screen, the text is all screwed up. To top it off, the UI has gone backwards like 5 years. It used to look like a decent app, now it looks like a mobile website from 5 years ago. If you go to the reviews of the app in the marketplace, there are TONS of people just ripping on Verizon for the "update."

Anyone else with a Trophy discover this yet? I wonder what prompted this.
