Verizon was offered an LTE Lumia device, that would have launched in Jan 2012, but Verizon turned it down. Publicly, news of this sorta broke out, but Verizon said it was not an LTE device. According to the sources I have, it was. Sadly, the relationship between MS and Verizon is so bad, that Verizon just does not care at this point. I'm hoping that changes with WP8, but I will most likely be dropping Verizon and my Trophy for AT&T and a Lumia 900.
