I am Windows 7 user so far and maybe I will install Windows 8 later but I am sure about its benefits. I have recently installed application WindowsXP mode and it does not work at all.

Xp mode does need some good hardware to run at all decent. What kind of system you have?

Did you follow this:

Install and use Windows XP Mode in Windows 7

?

We use it on a number of Windows 7 machines. Works great.

1.) Double click > WindowsXPMode_en-us.exe (500MB file so will take a little bit)


2.) Double click VPC(Windows Virtual PC) File name is:> Windows6.1-KB958559-x86-RefreshPkg.msu


3.) Reboot


4.) Navigate to Win7's Start>All Programs>Windows Virtual PC> and then select 'Windows XP Mode'
