Today is the big iPhone 5 announcement. I will watch a liveblog somewhere, but I don't really care about the new iPhone. Even if I didn't write for a Windows Phone website I would never get an iPhone. What about you?

Microsoft Surface RT - Nokia Lumia 925
I accidentally bought an iPhone 3G in a time when WP6.5 was garbage and Android was more of a project than an OS. Less than a year later, the 3GS was released and Apple pushed an iOS update that completely broke the 3G. It added background processes that added nothing to the feature list, but made the phone unusably slow and unstable.
TL;DR - Never again Apple.
Honestly though, the iPhone 5 has worse specs than Androids released a year ago, and iOS is a boring platform that's far too dependable on apps for everything. Typically a new iPhone raises a bar somewhere and pushes competition in the mobile market, but let's be honest, Nokia, Palm, Blackberry, Motorola, etc have all cornered the market and faded away. I sense it's someone elses turn.
wont buy apple because i like products that are cutting edge, not two years behind what android has.
Over its several years of development, I couldn't imagine a better combination of ongoing refinement, excellently straightforward OS design, and third party support for accessories, such as cases, than iPhone.
For my mother. Who confuses texts... For e-mails.
Gotcha.
iPhone has really become a status symbol more than anything else. It has its following, but I hope people switch over to WP. Apple is losing market shares because they aren't staying competitive anymore.
I think that the problem which Apple has is that their products are too expensive
Not only expensive but recently there is less innovation in their products.
I have one... not impressed
It is not launched in my country. So, I don't have an option to try or buy it.
