    Favorite tech sites?

I spend a lot of time surfing the web and most of the time I spend it on The Verge, Engadget, or writing for my blog, Techblitz. What do you guys read?

All of my news is congregated into Pulse. Engadget, Gizmodo, PC Gamer, Cnet, and a compilation of "Top Tech stories" that Pulse picks through some algorithm or another.

I used to follow TechnoBuffalo and watch the Youtube reviews they do, but I stopped because I disliked how the review was setup to be a direct comparison to the iPhone 4 in most cases and the site seemed to make every other story concern Apple. And I'm not a fan of Apple.

Yeah, I can understand how using the iPhone as a benchmark for everything would get annoying.

The comparisons, I believe, to compare it to one of the best phones on the market. It would be annoying, though!

I guess I cruise all the major ones fairly regularly, but on busy days I just let Google News do the bulk of my news reading. I have apps for it but just haven't used them regularly.

Anandtech goes into crazy detail on processors and stuff, a bit too technical for my tastes. I think ArsTechnica in the same way: definitely good writing, but I prefer sites that toss in a decent does of personality.

It sounds like many of you enjoy general tech sites vs. niche sites (like WinSource). It's hard enough to keep up with news on one topic, I can't imagine trying to run a site (or attend an event) that needed to cover all tech news. Talk about overwhelming!

As the lone writer for my blog, I can attest to this! It's hard to keep up with all the news

DarkReading.com is a good source for security news. Also, reading the /r/wp7 and /r/wp7dev are good sub reddits for information.

I like that. Yes, I am a tech site nomad... although I rarely post on the bigger ones BC a chance at good conversation dwindles with higher numbers.

ArsTechnica is a really well written site, but I don't always visit as much as I'd like

i even like to read the comments there. usually comments on sites like engadget are just full of fanboys raging about reviews for their favorite devices and stuff, but ars technica actually has good discussion.

I hate to say it, but Engadget's comment quality has significantly decreased since Josh and company left. ArsTechnica is usually always on point.
